Spring Festival and Plant Sale

Admission to this year’s Festival is good for the day long plant sale, workshops and presentations, access to local vendors and farmers and the evenings Contra Dance with live music!
Nature Pencil Drawing Classes
     Dates: May 7, 14, 21, and 28
     Time: 9:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.
     Tuition: $100 nonmember; $90 member 
A series of classes led by artist Marjorie Ledger-Thomas.
Class one - "Learning to See", a focus on honing observational skills and contour and gestural drawing of basic form in nature.
Class two - "Seeing the Shadows", a focus on 3-dimensional drawing using value and shading techniques.
Class three - "Field Sketching Plants", a focus on drawing plants in nature.
Class four - "Field Sketching Animals", a focus on drawing animals in their natural habitats.
Registration required, call to register soon, classes are limited to 15.
