Spring Pre-Plant Sale Party Date: Friday, May 3 Time: 4:00p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Members only $25 per person; $10 for consultations (limited numbers) Join us for an evening of fun and memories. RSVP early to sign up for a special one-on-one consultation with local landscape, permaculture and rainwater harvesting businesses, spaces are limited. Spring Festival and Plant Sale Date: Saturday, May 4 Time: 8:00 – 9a.m. Member preview 9:00 – 2p.m. General Admission $5 5:30 – 8:30p.m.Contra Dance Admission to this year’s Festival is good for the day long plant sale, workshops and presentations, access to local vendors and farmers and the evenings Contra Dance with live music! Nature Pencil Drawing Classes Dates: May 7, 14, 21, and 28 Time: 9:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. Tuition: $100 nonmember; $90 member A series of classes led by artist Marjorie Ledger-Thomas. Class one - "Learning to See", a focus on honing observational skills and contour and gestural drawing of basic form in nature. Class two - "Seeing the Shadows", a focus on 3-dimensional drawing using value and shading techniques. Class three - "Field Sketching Plants", a focus on drawing plants in nature. Class four - "Field Sketching Animals", a focus on drawing animals in their natural habitats. Registration required, call to register soon, classes are limited to 15. Audubon Bird Walk Date: Saturday, May 11 Free Time: 8:00 a.m. Raptor Rendezvous Date: Saturday, May 18 Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00p.m. Cost: $2 kids under 13; $5 adults At this amazing afternoon you can get up close and personal with some of Arizona's most amazing raptors. Opera In the Pines - Party with a Purpose Date: Saturday, June 22 Time: 6:30p.m. – 9:30p.m. Cost: $50 per person Experience an evening outside in the Prescott Pines listening to beautiful operatic arias sung by our featured soloists Darrell & Linda Rowader and Earl & Alexis Hazell.
