The Highlands Center partners with school districts in Yavapai County through our year-round school programs. We also serve charter schools, private schools, and home-schooled children.

We provide 2^nd grade in the spring and 4^th grade programs in the fall.

These programs include an introductory classroom activity followed by a full day field trip on site. Working with children in small groups (6-11 students), docents and staff provide outdoor science-based education designed to complement the Arizona State Science Standards. The curriculum encourages hands-on, minds-on learning where students explore scientific concepts in a fun, engaging manner. Field trips for other grades are also possible by special reservation.
